May 1st Very warm with occasional heavy showers. Went down to Will Smiths on forenoon in Port. Hubert and I drove over to farm to water Bobbie Mc came right back for ______  left on the 5 @ clock train for Fort Saskatchewan.

May 1st Very warm with occasional heavy showers. Went down to Wilt Smiths in forenoon in P.m. Hubert and I drove over to farm to water Bobbie
2nd Hubert and Toby went to the farm I had to go to Jim Banisters at 3:45 A.M. to attend his mare it was very cold with a North West wind. My wagon came and I helped _______untract it. I went to the farm after dinner and help Hubert get out some trees to plant along the lane.

We came right back for {Kese's?} left on the 5 O'clock train for <u>Fort Saskatchewan.</u>
