May 3rd. The wind chill in the North Wes and cold quite a frost last night. Went to the form after breakfast and found Bill at work. Hubert and {Jody come over about 9-30 and they and Bill went after trees today and a hole for {unclear works} and Jody came home with me.
At noon and after dinner {illegible}
