The fork works fine. It’s now 9:45. I am going to bed. |

5 O'Clock. Bill went home after tea.
Sunday 9th Very hot all day. Hattie and I did not go out at all. Toby & Dick went to Sunday School & church. We wrote to {Wese?} in the afternoon and was interrupted about 5 O’Clock by Allan, Ade and Ernie coming over. They stayed to tea - and did not go home until 10 P.M.
Monday July 10th Persistent wind all day, but pretty hot. Bill did not get back until after dinner.
