Friday 18<u>th</u> Emery came this morning and we put in the rest of the floor in the Stable. Felix Perkins came over and put more pipes in the well. there was over 40 feet of water in it. We got home about 10-30 and found both boys in bed.
Monday Aug 14th We hauled in the oats today {Vyse?} over and helped us. We hauled them in in 6 loads but some were not very large. It was pretty hot all day. Emery went home to be gone until Thursday morning.
