19 Monday got remainder of SF round house Zone and ganged in grass seed sewn over as far as back of house and Harold in called on C Duncan he is give us half days logging tomorrow got bag flour from Uncle George this afternoon father and Willie fired all the log heaps I cut up some evening and fixed up little heaps warm day 20 Tuesday rolled in log heaps they had burned well then we cut up with saw three solids and a good few rail cuts a McFarland threshing peas afternoon he was logging with us we got a great amount of work done and well done I think I will get plow started tomorrow if all well we have got a clear piece at this side of follow cool and cloudy 21 Wednesday branded up a piece of follow at this side and a long lower and then plowing it plows well and appears to be fine rich soil and the greater part of it has no Stones father and Willie we're picking up had nine heaps burning tonight we had to take down two loads pea straw to log barn which is a great break just now quite a breeze tonight 22 Thursday took down small load P straw then at the plow we rolled in heaps this morning the burned well many of them clean out Arthur and Willie cleaned up peas afternoon he had 34 bus I was plowing at Sea Duncan's for 1/2 day logging warm sunny afternoon 23 Friday we had a great rain last night which will make things grow the grass is getting greener and the wheat is up I had plow at shop got colder laid and set and started to plow one half past eight I plowed till dark got a good piece turned over lighted three heaps tonight father and Willie Aunt Anne is here tonight finished picking up tonight 24 Saturday plowing rolling up heaps made one brand Heap Drew off some rail Cuts will he had mayor hitched up drawing small Brands and Roots we had quite a rain last night again the heaps three in number and some smaller ones looked rather damp but father lighted them all and they burned First Rate we heard tonight that our dear friend Frank Catherine died of 4-day illness of yellow fever at {illegible} he was here before he left 13th September so he has been there a year and has found a grave far from home and kindred poor Frank 25 Sunday we were at 12 con Schoolhouse as usual Mr Currie's text today gal 3rd and 1st notice first the great and important privilege of the Galatians not that they had actually witnessed the crucifixion but they had a crucified savior preach to them they had not all the gospels but they had some and one was sufficed and they had the gospels Faithfully preached to them they had also the gospel {illegible} to them by the consistent walk of professors the celebration of the Lord's Supper the Galatians had all these yet they turned around to the elements of the law and rejected the gospel and this is what called for the expression foolish Galatians the same true still believing in theory but not in practice hearers but not doers of the word
