31 Monday went to Bush and skidded too logs 13 ft and length for Rafters to root house got Duncan's tracks and took them to Kyle Smith Sawmill brought home nine bunches shingles and feet lumber for sheeting Ann and Willie pulled 12 drills of turnips and cleaned 14 bags barley very fine day one November Tuesday at O.S. market had 14 bags barley 35 34/48 bus at 85 cents $30.35 good price bought oil 25 cents rope 45 cents got meal $1 70 $2.40 in all brought home load sawdust for root house from Kyle scythe beautiful day and Roads pretty dry 20 drills turnips pulled today Mr Currie was presented tonight with a buffalo robe by members of the y p c a two Wednesday open pit with plow had Jack Sinclair filling and little Bob so we got in 12 loads into pit in field one in stable four in pit beside Barn 17 in all and Willie and father have pulled the one half of the field this has been a very fine day the turnips were dry and clean and I am glad we were able to take the good of it three Thursday shower morning finished the grouting of cow stable and cleaned it all out and fixed ropes through off the 17th load to kill a big pig evening tide in the two heifers we are to sell at Xmas at the cows as we have had some Showers of snow today for Friday ground white with 5 in snow got in cattle sheep and pigs snowing thickly all forenoon got pigs into Old Hen House we have three to five pork is selling at $750 for bus and peas at 73 cents per bus afternoon covered mangled pits with Earth quite a windy aspect today five Saturday feeding cattle has begun again and we will have it for 6 months covering pits was the order of the day shoveled off snow put on pea straw and Earth rot hard and got 17 loads covered by night I suppose about 12 loads of pit we made them shallow in pit so as to prevent heating which accounts 6 Sunday 21 after Trinity we have given up our SS for winter months our text today Hebrews 1 and 14th notice that there are other intelligent beings in God's universe beside us we may believe in angels but do not realize the fact as we ought first their nature and character God measuring hours and as such before the scriptures were given to man we're seen in bodily form they are spirits not encumbered with flesh and blood spirits pure and simple full of knowledge yet it is limited they Excel in strength Egypt's firstborn {illegible} Army removing the Stone from the Sepulcher Peter in prison swiftness probably with the victory of thought they possess moral Excellency exalted goodness they thy will be done for the great length it rained and snowed all day so we are pretty {illegible} but it is something to have them covered need to move last three lines they are incorrect order I will be done they rejoice when one sinner returns innumerable they are of different ranks they never reason why ministering spirits of God's appointment sure of their appointment no doubt our duty what Falls to our hand do it for God's glory the {illegible} of their service {illegible} of salvation what is the nature of their administrations instructions delivers comforters they will be busy on the great day they attend the deathbed of The Heirs of salvation
