21 Monday went for another load of Sawdust afternoon finish artist and cheating and had the half shingled By Night snowy and cold 22 Tuesday shingling all day had it finished except the three courses which will go under the barn                    and will be laid and mortar Uncle Haverson and Mr Tom came here today Mr tall believe on Thursday for a man 23 Wednesday took in three loads turnips in the root house afternoon thrashing at our McLeod's Willie thrashing peas and feeding very cold day and thick Showers of snow 24 Thursday threshing at R McLeod's all day very cold day Mr Thom left today 25 Friday at Terra Mills three bags Grist four and a half chop paid Bruce for Clover turnip another seeds $4.43 and 74 for glycerin Cur for 28 bus line at 25 cents per bus for dollars 20 cents 3 lb rope 40 cents had slay out very storm day slaying rather rough ham Staples replaced 40 cents 26 Saturday a little soft today so we were feeling the root house at the pit on the hill into the root house 11 loads we think there was about two loads in before and now it is about half full 27 Sunday Mr Currie's text today First Kings 18 and 21st to whom was this address to the Heathen no they were decided to {illegible} no for they profess to be decided but to these who knew the true God yet {illegible} sin kept them from deciding notice how condescending God is the text Express in the spirit of come let us reason together I forgot my pencil today
