June 11th 1871 Sunday June 11th Tote a Dice Grand Procefsion Corpus Christie and so on high Wind to Day heavy Rain thunder and lightning the Adolphus went Down with a load going to Williamstown procefsion the Picton came out of Lancaster whatever she was doing there got some papers from Mrs Norman McDonald yesterday
12th Hoeing Potatoes Planted somewhere the corn and beans were taking up the Potatoes in the Bush hoed cutting Weeds around the Lower Point and Pitt Point
13th lost a Maskinounge
14th Lashey setting his Line him and Pete Bosell here with the Rain and Wind gave him some matches Gordon caught the first Dory or Pickerel or Wall eyed Pike
15th fishing caught 233 Pickerel and chubs and the rest Perch took home a Load of Wood Pealed some Basswood and Elm Bark lost our anchor the Rope Broke a Fortunate Day very warm strawberries Ripe
