<u>10</u> <u>Thursday</u>. Beautiful, clear cold day. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira, had his dinner at Earl's and went to Addison Stahlbaum's sale this afternoon. We spent the evening at Otto Miller's and had a fine time.

February, 1927.

10 Thursday. Beautiful, clear cold day. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira, had his dinner at Earl's and went to Addison Stahlbaum's sale this afternoon. We spent the evening at Otto Miller's and had a fine time.

11 Friday. Clear, cold and windy Walter went to Creekbank and Alma this morning and he and Vernon cut some poles in the swamp this p.m. Callers - Noah Miller, Walter Adler, Sam Bird and Lincoln Edler.

12 Saturday. Clear, cold & windy The men brought another load of poles from the swamp this afternoon. Callers - Joe Gingrich, Almon Snider, Otto Miller and Allen Wagner.

13 Sunday. Cold, raw, east wind blowing. We went to church & S. School this morning and to Noah Miller's for dinner. Fred Soehner died yesterday at Floradale of cancer and stroke.
