<u>21</u> <u>Thursday</u>. Cool & breezy. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira. Tonight Walter, Ella & vernon went to the Mennonite church at Elmira where a chorus composed of singers from Kitchener, Waterloo & Elmira rendered an Easter Cantat entitled "Jesus Lives" which was very good.

April, 1927.

19 Tuesday. Very warm & sultry. Ella was raking the plowed part of the garden today. Vernon was plowing. Walter took 4 head of fat cattle to Elmira this forenoon and was harrowing this p.m. Walter & Ella went to a Concert at the Regent Theatre at Elmira tonight It was given by local talent and was very good. There was a heavy thunderstorm accompanied by wind & rain tonight.
