<u>14</u> <u>Saturday</u>. Rain this morning Cloudy & cool all day. The men took 5 head of cattke to Elmira today. Noah Miller helped them and was here for dinner. Lincoln Edler called tonight.

<u>15</u> <u>Sunday</u>. Dull, dreary & drizzly. We went to church & S. School this afternoon. Rev. Becker, the new pastor late of Hanover, preached his first sermon here. We did up our chores and went to Emerson Krauter's at Balsam Grove for tea. Christ. Weber was buried at Heidelberg today.
 
<u>15</u> <u>Sunday</u>. Dull, dreary & drizzly. We went to church & S. School this afternoon. Rev. Becker, the new pastor late of Hanover, preached his first sermon here. We did up our chores and went to Emerson Krauter's at Balsam Grove for tea. Christ. Weber was buried at Heidelberg today.
  
 
<u>16</u> <u>Monday</u>. Cold & showery. Walter took a load of chopping to Floradale this morning. This p.m. he went over to Noah Miller's. Ella transplated some cabbage, cauliflower and aster plants. Our company tonight were - Mr. & Mrs. Earl Miller and Sam Bird.
