13 Saturday. Fair. Showers last night. Walter helped to thresh at Elmo King's this p.m. Colson came up for tea and Edith, Roy, Lois and Sonny went home with him.
14 Sunday. Sultry this morning. Very cool by tonight. We went to church & S. School this morning then went to Charles Hilliard's near Conestogo for dinner & supper. Ella went to Church at Conestogo with Charlie & Ida.
15 Monday. Fair and very cool. THe men were scuffling corn & roots today. We were at Louis Miller's tonight.
16 Tuesday. Clear and cool. Walter & Vernon brought in 7 loads of barley today. Ella did her washing.
17 Wednesday. Clear and cool. The men were cutting barley this a.m. and helped to thresh at Eph. Snyder's. Edna and her five children visited Ella and were here for tea. Mr. & Mrs. Norman Snider, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Howden, Carol, Elizabeth & Elaine Snider called here tonight.
