Frid 12th.. July / 89. Nice day finished picking strawberries. Early to bed.

Sat 13th.. I churning down cellar. Dave called 1st.. time for over a week. Busy all day Willie Walton came up from Toronto. Folks up from boat. Minnie Sherdian Walter & a Miss Smith from Palermo down. Arthur B. called & we all went down to have a row but Mr McMichael wouldn't let the boat go so we set down on deck & talking about garden party, till W.G. & Emma came & then Watson let us have the boat & we went for a boat ride it lovely & moon light. Arthur went up to see if he could get another boat & we went before he got back. Got home at 11. Went in parlor had refreshments & singing then went at 12.

Sun 14th.. Cloudy & raining went to S.S. & church. felt terribly tired Marlon S at church. Walked up road with Dave & Annie V Marlon D & Charlotte B. came in only D. stayed for tea. Arthur came after tea. Lizzie Forfar & M.W. down at boat for there tea. Arthur went at 10. D & I had an old fashioned talk "no. 2." It rather late when he went but Willie not home yet. Max C took him away in P.M. I talked to Annie & told her aboout D. & his prospects.

Mon 15th.. Annie & Will went down on 1st.. train. Folks up from boat shooting cherrie birds. Alf & W Coley came. Us all picking. Couple of Jerrerly pedlars called. Emma & I hoeing garden. Charlotte B. called I got letter from D Burns about going to College in Ham.

Thur 16th.. M.W. drove Lizzie to Oakville to take boat to Toronto. Dave came over to see if we wanted any more pickers as he had some from Palermo & they nothing to pick. Us busy washing. Mabel here helping us. Arthur B. called & took Ida to concert at Palermo. Dave called for a little while. Mandia & Jennie came after there S. berries To bed 9.30.
