Men choring and drawing out manure. Brock met me at night train. {name?} and Sadie here in evening. Mother up to Ray's to see Harry. He sick with flu. Fine bright day.

Me choring. finished drawing out manure and bought in a load of corn. Brock up to Rays in evening. Fine but not very bright. Had a leter from Betty saying that Robt. Alvies is dead.
