Done chores. Men chopping in morning At bush in afternoon. Brock took mother & I down to Noeckers in evening. Fine with a little snow to-wards evening.
FRIDAY, 28
Done chores. Pa took Brock tomorning train. He gone to Chatsworth. Capt. Brian came on morning train. He and I up to {Saso's?}in afternoon and for tea. Mr. Craig here in afternoon and all night. Very mild and bright. Neary rain in evening with thunder and lightning. Turned colder in night. Mrs. Leo Shant died very suddenly to-night
