March THURSDAY, 13

Choring and drawing up wood. I down to Jack's for an hour. Fune day but cold N.E wind. Mother had to go back to bed again.

FRIDAY, 14

Done chores and chopping in aftenoon. Da took another weak spell and had to go to bed. I neer to {name or place?}to phone how mother as. She a lityle better. Very strong and cold east wind but clear & bright.

SATURDAY, 15

Brock done chores, cleaned pens and sifted ashes. Da in bed until noon and in house all day. Brock & I to town at night. East wind with rain at times, Freezing.

SUNDAY, 16

Jack Walker up in morning. Da out to barn a couple times. heavy rain in forenoon from east. Very foggy and dull all P.M. Roy down with message saying that mother would be home in morning.
