May THURSDAY, 15

Done chores and cultivate sod next Jack's line fence in forenoon. Sowed and harrowed it in afternoon. Della here for duck eggs. A little showery early in morning. Cleared and quite sultry. Looking like rain.

FRIDAY, 16

Done chores. Then Da cultivated sod for corn in forenoon. Brock went to cultivate back by Roy's line fence but had to stop about eleven as it came on a shower. Da cultivated little patch on other place and garden patches in afternoon. Brock cultivating on 4 ac on other place. Dull all day and a heavy mist a rain at times. Rained steady for a couple of hours in evening.
