September THUSRDAY, 11
Digging ditch all day. Mother took me to morning train to go to London. Fine morning but a shower about noon.
FRIDAY, 12
Finished ditch in forenoon. Brock at Wilmott's threshing in afternoon and at Hoshels. Da Drew wood out of old orchard. Fine day.
SATURDAY, 13
Brock at Hod's threshing until about three o'clock then chopping. Da started to cut corn. Brock to town at night. Fine day
SUNDAY, 14
Mr. + Mrs. Thompson brought me home in afternoon. Brock to church at night Harry Coran and Willa here in evening.
