27.	Fine mild day. Donald Roys' wife and Alick were here this afternoon. Far and Murdy drew wood from Salways.
28.	Snowing and drifting all day. The boys drew three loads of wood. Had a letter from Uncle Charley. He is in Syracuse. Pa is up again.
29	Jimmie went to Lancaster on Wednesday to get his tooth fixed. He got $4.75 worth of wheat. This is a fine day. Jimmie is clearing the round of the bank. It stormed all day yesterday.	25
30.	Mercury down to 12 below zero this morning. The annual meeting of the church was held last night on the Hill. Pa sent the rent of the rental, let at $4.00. John R. took it. Jimmie went to Cornwall Friday and did not get back yet. 10 P.M.	4
31.	Sunday, fine day. I was not in church in the morning but went in the evening. Jimie Roy came here from church to stay for a few days. McGaughy died yesterday, will be buried tomorrow. Maggy McPherson (Blue) died in Montreal. will be buried here in St. Mary's tomorrow.

1	Monday Fine day. Mercury at zero in the morning, higher through the day. The carnival will go on tonight. 75 lbs flour at Willies $2.40, yeast 5, Marvin and Mordy are going to the rink masked, she, Red, white and blue. he as pack of cards. Bird nor Jimie did not go.	2.45
2.	Another fine day. The girls and Jimie went to the Gore. got home about 6 P.M. I baked in oven. Ran came home from Martintown yesterday.
3.	Fine bright day. Allie came for Jennie. Jimie went to Monro's mills, took 23 bush of oats. Got in exchange 368 lbs of oat meal.
4.	Far went to Alexandria in morning. got home in afternoon. Womens meeting at J. A.’s over 22 members and visitors, my offering 25-Birds 10.	35
5.	Cold, mercury up 6 below zero. Cold wind I heard that there was scarlet fever in the village. At some French house. Jimie & Murdy went to Lancaster.
6.	Fine soft day. Birdie & Christina went to spend the afternoon at Jimie Dingwall’s.
7.	Rain roads very bad. Ran went some place Far drove him to Lancaster
8.	I washed today, & churned. Jimie is assessing
9.	Baked. Jimie assess'. at the front. To 1/2 gall syrup 25 cts. Sold 2 1/2 doz. eggs 44 cts. yesterday. Got 4 spools thread 16 cts Ran got home this evening.	28 16
10.	Old man on the war path. All the boys went some where with the horses I got bead trimmings 15, 5 yds. braid 10. 2 1/2 yds. Cotton 20. ballance for duebill. At Frasers. It is a very fine day.	25
