24 Sunday 21. buried 23. aged 81.
25 Snow all day, and a little sunshine. We heard that Mrs. Sandy John McDonald died today, And Mr. W. Sylvester died at Vankleek Hill. Ran & Far were at Lancaster.
26 Pretty good day, some wind and a little snow. Jimie came home about 4 P.M. sick with Grippe
27 Dull day, Birdie & I went to see my Aunt Kate, she is very poorly, we called at Sandy John's. Sent provender to Mill, Arthur McArthur of Lancaster was buried today with masonic rites.
28 Fine day, made a washing, Far got word to get ready to go to Mexico.
29 Wrote to Leitch & Pringle, look like sugar weather.
30 Another fine day.
31 Got a letter from L. & P. and a cheque for 139.85 for rent Far took it to Lancaster had it cashed lost 60 cts. Cost 60 cts. Paid Far 25.30 on note 4 for value received = 29.30 - 139.85 = 95 $20. is still with R M Dougald.

1. Very fine day. heard that my Aunt Kate died this morning. Womens meeting at Mr. Elders. My offering 25 cts. 10 for Mrs. J.D. McLennan, 12 for the leaflet. To 1 gall coal oil 20. 2 lamp chimney. 47 34
2. Fine day, roads bad. Marion & I went to Aunt Kates wake in the afternoon. Saw a number of friends.
3. To sugar 25. tea 25. 50
4. I was in church and heard Daniel Scott my off 5 cts.
5. Gave 2.00 to J. 20 cts to Marion 1.20. to Bird. Jimie is on the mend today on road today on horseback.

7. Birdie is not well today, has tonsilites
8. Randy went to the East Front to fish for pike. Got 4 fine ones. To 1 bottle E oil. 20
9. Fine day. Snow all day. Ground covered.
10. Baked in oven. The anniversity of our marriage, And I never thought of it until now. 9 P.M. To 1 lb raisin 8.
11. Was in church, My & Marion off 8 cts.
12. Washed a few things. Snow mostly all off. Jimie left for North side B. river.
13. Warm. Some rain cleaned the furnace pipee. Pa took ill on Sunday. Is better now. Birdie is not gaining very fast.
14. Bright in morning, drizzled in afternoon. Ran went to Lancaster. Got $20 from McDougald paid Sandy 1.50 for over shoes, 75 for rubbers 8.75 for cloths = 11. Paid Fraser $7 for making suit & furnishing trimmings. 11 7
15. Rev. A Given & A. C. McDonell paid a pastoral call. Jimie got home, had finished the assessing.
