17. Fine day. Mercury 10 below zero at 8. A.M. The roads very heavy. Loney sent a team for our snow plough. And went around the village
18 Friday, Pa And Murdy went to Lancaster Drizzle of rain McKewin called got 50 cts for beef bot in January McGregor got 527 for beef 45 coming to him yet. Sent a letter to Far. Baked in oven
19. Fine day. D. M McPherson has a political meeting in St Andrews Hall tonight
20. Sunday. Storming all day. only 36 in church Now, 8. P.M wild as ever, it is the worst storm of the winter. It is not very cold. no prayer Meeting. high drifts of snow. D. M. had a good meeting last night. Jimie did not come home this week.
21. Monday. snowing yet and storming, no travel
22. Still storming. We heard that D.M. & D.R. are storm stead at St Policarp And can not get to the Nomination. D.C. will get the bulge on them
23. Storm ceased but a little snow falling all day. If it turns warm we will have a flood
24 Fine day people on the roads today. This has been the worst storm in years.
25 Doing a little house cleaning. washed windows & doors in my bedroom. Mifs Francis Willard died in New York on the 18

2 fine day, Mary McIntyre spent part of the day here. Far. H. (Ewen Dugh) took dinner here Saw in the Star that Ewen McLennan was sick in Victoria Hospital. To sugar 25 cts. 1 bot Eclect oil 50
3. W.F.M.S. {Womens Foreign Mission Society} met here today 12 members present Birds & my offering 25 cts. to 1 gall coal oil 20. 45
4 Very fine day. our folk were at the C.E. social last night. got $11. Marion & I went to the Gore yestertoday. Got home about 5.30.
5 Jimie went to Alexandria. Pidgeon by 75 cts.

10 Fine day. All our young folk went to Glen Walter to visit the R. T. {Royal Templars}
11. Nomination at Russell today. Pa & Murdy went to St Raphels to see the farm. Just heard that John Boss Contracter died at Lancaster last night
12 Began to rain at 6. A.m. Thawing
13 Showery all day. Very warm for March.
14 Fine day. freezing a little. Farquherson Thrashing.
15 Fine day. Floods in Quebec and Ontario. Front yesterday & today. stopped the thaw. Sent a letter to Far & one to Sandy. Heard that Randy was sick. To 1 lb soda 5 D.H. McDonald cutting wood yesterday 8 5
