26 began to storm and snow, very wild To 1lb tea 30 cts, 3 lbs butter at Heenens And 2 qts milk 10 cts Paid. 1 gall coal oil 25 90 35
27. Saturday. J.C. had a letter from Jimie today, it was written on the 21st Dec/99, he was well. To ½ gallon molasses 27 cts. The storm is over and it is a very fine day. bright sunshine 27
28 Fine day. A pretty large congregation, roads fine through rough
29. Another fine day. done a small washing.
30 Pretty cold wind. Birdie & Murdy went to Cornwall, drove to Summerstown

1 Thursday. W.F.M.S. {Womens Foreign Mission Society} met at Johns Dingwalls, Birdie & I drove luby. A very cold day, people freezing their ears and noses. Birdie got one ear nipped when coming home. My off. 25 cts 25
2. Mercury at sun rise 21. below zero, raised to zero. very fine day. To 2 qts milk at Heenans 10 cts. The C.E's have a rally to night at St A. Hall. To sugar 25 cts, Coconut 15 cts. 40 10 40
3 Fine day. J.C. left for some where west last night. Murdy got some furniature for his bedroom in Cornwall. it came here on Thursday by a carter. he and Birdie are putting it in today. To 5 lb steak at Bousies 50 cts. closeline 10 cts for Marions trunk 50 10
4 Began to snow in Morning, now 7. P.M. turned to soft drifting

6 Snow in morning but cleared up by noon. Murdy went to Lancaster And drove the cow which we sold to Mr. Gregor. Got 37 1/2 dollars for her. paid 50 cts to boy to drive her. Bot at McCrimmons 4 1/4 lb bacon 13 pr lb 56, 5 lb sugar 25. 1 gall coal oil 25. 1 lb currants 9. 1 lb raisins 9 1 gall molasses. 1 gall coal oil 25 Mifs McMurtry, who is going to sing at the S. of S. concert tonight, is here to remain until tomorrow
7 Fine day. We were all at the concert. Our tickets were reserved. Pa paid for his I paid for Mine & Birdies /td>
