1. Thursday. Very fine day. no one called here but Mary & Mr Given.
2 Another fine day. J.C. & wife here to supper.
3 Fine soft day. Quite showery. To 1 gall coal oil 25
4 Fine mild day. A pretty large congregation A Mr McGinnis from Van Kleek Hill gave an address in evening.
5 Far left for his work this morning by the Mocasson. Birdie drove him to Lancaster. There is a poll today for County Councillor. Week of Prayer. Hephzabath {Hephzibah} tonight
6. Fine day. Prayer at Hephzabath. {Hephzibah} 100 of flour on 5th at Willies
7. Snowing & blowing. Alick Bellemare got 1400 lbs hay. P. at Hephzabath. {Hephzibah}

21. Turned warm last night And is snowing today. Pa sent for Dr.. Mowet. And he left 6 liver pills & mixed a bottle of stomach medicine. he took a sample of urine to examine. There was a Carnival on the rink last night or Masquerade. not bad

28 Soft day. To 7 lb sausage 10-70. Donald Farquhar's funeral was large. No one here but Farquh. Hughie. Major brought 1 load of hay

30. Cold day. Mrs D. J. 62 or 64 McLennan, buried today arranging for the burial
31 Ugly day high west wind. McLennan entertain all who came with the funeral. at Sullivans Donald Taylor 87 McLennan died yesterday. will be buried in 2d Con Lancaster Sunday Afternoon To pan bread 20. paid Murdy 75. borrowed money
