September 1885

1. Tuesday. To 4 1/2 lbs stew 6 = 26 cts rain to day
2 I have a boil on the left-side of my neck and it pains me a good deal. The four schools are opened and a pretty fair attendance already Mrs Ross here to tea To tea at Dan's 2 lbs 1.00 1.00
3 Womans meeting at Jimmie Dingwalls. R.R I dd not go my boil is sore. Pa & the boys are drawing stones from Peelow's to the Game lot
