9 There was no singing class last night. Handy was sick. This has been a very fine day.
10 Another fine day. had a letter from Far written on his arrival in Washington. Got 1 lb dates 10 10
11 Sabbath. Cousin Mary was over, We had a Mr __ Student of MCgill Read Ezekial 37. Vision of dry bones
12 Stormy. began to snow. 6.30. Had a letter from Murdy his session will not be through until the last of April
13 very stormy. The worse storm of the winter, not a person on the road until evening. Mrs Snider a daughter.
14 Prayer Meeting Sandy O. leader. Mrs Lauder the daughter
15 W.C.F. M. (Womens Committee Foreign Mission} met in our house today. Mrs. D.D. Mrs A.C. Mrs Monroe & Miss McGruer. not much said but thought the women should go from house to house, to find the opinion of the people about the S.A. {Scot Act} {Dr?} called to see. A very goodly number out to Singing.
16 Had a letter from Jimie. No word from Far this week. A concert at the Gore School tonight - a load went from the village. I bot. a ticket: but did not go 25
17. St Patrick's day. cold wind from West. The singing class for Sabbath met here tonight, and have only left. 10.30 Sold 1 doz eggs, got 2 lb raisins. There was a severe snow storm all over N.Y. beginning Sabbath evening railroads were blocked. Mails stopped, The storm was very severe in Connecticut. A. Pigon brought a {Pct.?} cooking stove from us today. paid $.6.00. And will pay the rest soon. $.600 more

19. Jimies birthday fine mild day. Mrs D.D., Miss McGruer & Myself went out and called on the merchants and two of the mechanics of the village to find out if they thought the Scot Act was
