| 1 | Friday. Jimie sowed bush provender and 1/2 bush hayseed on the back of the 30 acres. Hatty came this evening. | |

| 3 | A Mr Robertson, student preached. Morning read John 21 chapt. 22d verse of same chapt. What is that to thee Follow those men. Evening read Matth. 25 chapr. text. 3 & 4 some of the same chapt. He gave general satisfaction something different from what we were in the habit of hearing. | |

| 6 | 4 P.M. Jimie began to put out the manure yesterday. drew 14 loads. drew 7 this forenoon, then at noon it began to cloude up for a storm. And it came at 1/2 one. very high wind blew down two trees in our grave yard, the old pine that had stood between Gadbois & Langivall. fell, two limbs were blown off one of our maples, And Tom Hunan's old barn got quite a shafting fences were thrown down. I did not hear of any destruction as yet but if the storm was as bad in other places as it has been hear, there will be a good deal of damage done. Russel paid Pa $.4000 for rent yesterday | |
