11 Paid Tyo blacksmith for shoeing horses yesterday $1.10. And for shoeing in fall 90 wheeling splendid. all ruts filled and frozen, skating all that could be desired 2.00
12 Wednesday. Rev. D.D. conducted the meeting tonight from John 1st chapt. 46. verse "Come and see." It turned very cold last night. wind from West. no snow
13. John Grant came about 11 A.M. with his thrashing mill. Got 5 members Christmas Stars 90 cts each 2.0
14 Got 1 qrt coal oil 7 cts. very cold wind
15 Another cold day. Watson paid $400 for cow pasture Slick Collet " rent 2.50
16. Elder gave a very fine address in the morning. Rev Given is away. Read John . 13. chapt. in evening read 7 of Luke. Raining. Birdie bad with tooth Ache. Collection for Colleges 1.25 1.25
17. Rained a good deal through the night, and drizzled all day. finished thrashing at 1 PM. 462 bush, in all oats & provender. And 168 of oats was thrashed in fall. Snowing 10. P.M. I was at the Templer's meeting only 17 present.
18 Tuesday. The ground was covered with snow this morning. Robertson Bailiff married to Miss McCallum, at Presbytery by Watson
19. Jimie made mow plough. and went through our side. Sent a letter to Murdy with $.1500 I did not go to prayer meeting. Jimie took 62 bush oats to Lancaster got $20.79. paid Willie $.10. of borrow money gave 50 cts to Jimie. and paid 50.to Smith for work done in summer. 15 -- 50 50
20 Very fine day. got 1 lb tea at Dan's 40 cts and letter to Far.
21 Snowing kind of raw Brid came home

23 Turning kind of soft. Church was very cold in morning the sleighing is very fine
24 Far came home last night at 1/2 7 P.M. and was bad with tooth ache went to Falkner had it pulled out 50 cts he sat up all night for the tooth was broken in the pulling.
