May 1889

25 Yesterday Jimie worked 2 1/2 days this week is not well
26 Fine cool day. The weather has been pleasantly cool since Tuesday. I was not to morning service. Mrs & Mrs Given came home last night.
27 Marion is out as well today. nice & cool. Pa and Murdy are taking in stove wood to the shed, from the field. by the barn. Jimie got Sable & Jetty shod at Tyo's
28 Cold and wet - began to rain last evening and is now 1 P.M. showery we have a fire in the sitting room Pa paid Dan $.500 on our account
29 Wednesday. I was not at Prayer Meeting Mrs Phuton of Maxville called to see Marion, she said her trouble was from the teeth
