1 Tuesday. rain all day. Pa and boys mixing morter in the cellar for furnace
2 Murdy took R.K. & A. to John Tanners Alick Lantimore moved into old post office Alick Ritchardson moved into Kintail hou{se} Bought 100 of flour from Dunlop 300 1 pan bread 25 cts X 3 25
3 Rain. snow & hail all day. Womans meeting at the Manse 12 members present 14 with the ladies of the house my offering 10 cts Gave Murdy 1.00 to send to Toronto Got 1 loaf bread 7 cts I baked in oven 1--
4 Jimie went to Lancaster and got the furn{ace?} rained all the afternoon expect the men tomorrow to set the furnace
5 Rain again all day the men came but did not do any thing Kate came
6 Rained all day I did not go to church. There was no prayer meeting
7. Wet again. Got a ham at J.A.'s Saturday night 1.35 = Got five qr of lamb today 65. Apples 20 = molasses 15 pepper 5 cts men came and began 1 35 1
8 Rain & snow. Got beef 56 cts sugar 20 paid Francis Branson 1.50. for one day's work at furnace, John McGilles 1 tanner. took Annie & Rale away. 76
9 Beautiful day. I washed but did not hang out. 9 P.M. There was a very heavy showeer about 7.50, Just as we went to prayer meeting. are taking up potatoes poor crop
11 Friday Evening I am going to Harvy's for tea
