22 Very fine day. snow going so fast you may think that you can see it melt. Mr Given had a very good address. And the evening was good likewise.
23 Dull and thawing after dark began to rain
24 Was raining when I got up but cleared up fine. In the Afternoon it was bright & sun shiney. Had three calls from ladies, 1st Mrs Barrell, 2nd Annie Campbell, 3rd and last Mrs Arthur Rofs, who remained to tea I got at J.A.'s 2 cans of apples 25 cts. Pa and boys began to split and put away wood 25
25 Very fine day. but cold wind I think Africa is boiling today. Pa got Dyers offset to the summons
26 Fine day. Pa went to Cornwall to see a lawyer. And Far went to Toronto this afternoon Jimie went to a sale at W. McGregor's & Road Affrica bought about 2 pails of "dreacle" Pa got $5000 from D.B. interest of some money
27 Pa and boys piled the wood
28 Fine day much warmer, I think the sap will run well. Pa paid his account at Willies $8. And at Tillon's $300. Mrs Ross spent the evening with us. Marion was at Sniders to tea Aunt was not well yesterday but is better today. Birdie gave me a nice bible today cost about 2.50
29 Not many in church. Fine day roads bad. Good sugar weather
