1 Monday. Began to drizzle in the Morning and drizzled all day
2 Rained all day Bot 25 lb butter 20 50
3. Rain again William Campbell's older son D. J. was buried today died of scarlot fevre. got Longipes today. planted.
4 Rained and stormed from midnight until 4 P.M. The W. M. S. {Womens Missio Society} met here today. 8 present 10 members with Birdie & I. Bot in the morning 1 lb tea 1/2 lb B. tea & 7 lbs sugar. 2 lbs soda 1.10
5 2.30 P.M. It is beginning to look bright and it is very pleasing to the people The bridge on St the creek at the foot of our garden is impassable two washouts on it
6 Saturday more rain
7 Fine day looks like fine weather
8. I baked some bannocks. got 1 pan, 20 Made a washing. Jimie ploughed the garden Murdy took his cloth to {Maggor?}
9. Made a baking in oven. Pa & JC caught 4 1/2 doz. perch
10 Done a little work in garden. sowed onions. Ran sowed Mangolds beets carrots and turnips. one row of each. between the Apple trees. Hot 84
11 I am not well. And Birdie is sick had Falknor to see her, diptheria Very hot 86. On Wednesday gave Whitford 1 bush oats wheat 2 bush barley. 6 bush oats Got 3 bush potatoes at Summertown 2.10
12 I do not feel well Bird is some better
13 Jimie sowed 2 bush wheat. it drizzled all day. {cooked?} in the house
