Wensday 9th Dec / 08 fine We Attended show. had our cow killed E. P. Pride 3rd she dressed about 64% weighed 1540 alive and 976 carcase.
the Thursday 10th fair I attended Show cattle and went to Banquet in the Evening Ticket. $150 it was a very satisfactory. Sold a bull Yesterday to Mr Binnie and Mr Kenney. of Erin. For $15000 to be delivered soon 1.50
Friday 11th Dull & damp We attended stock & took grist to Mill of Oats peas & barley We won 3rd prize on Carcase sold carcase for $875 = $8540

Saturday. 12th fine Will & W.B. Cut wood and I went to mill for Chop and bgt a load of Barley. @ 51¢ per bu. 51 bu 37 lbs D. 51¢ = $2640 I recd prize money from show $8500 money for carcase & hide 800 pd W. Batty 500 axe handle. 30¢ 5.00 8.00 85.40 26.40 .30 5.00
Sunday 13th fair Mary & Children & I went to Church in morning. heard rev. Dr Williamson preach on "Do. I Love Jesus" to the Children.
Monday 14th fair & soft Will & W.B. hauled wood. I Chored and I went to town Stn to Mail letters saw Geo Henderson. his steers weighed 1020 I owe him for lamb. I went to Anniversary in Evening with all children Col 40¢. .40
