Wensday 16th fine W.B. & I chored and put Ear Tags in Cattle & sheep ringed young bull and. cleaned out Eave trough. & butched a Lamb

Thursday 17th Stormy. We Chored and went to Mill for grist. Mr J. Binnie & Alex Mc Kinney both of Erin Came for Young bull E.P. Ringleader 7th. pd for him $15000 I sent $3750 to B.H. Heide Union Stock Yards Chicago. I recd from them $7500 prize money. $15000 $7500 150.00 $3750
Friday 18th fair & Changeable We Chored cut wood and went to station for "Prince of Benton" he came home in very thin condition his head is about the only part I would recognize. Louis Flick helped us today. took 1 cord heading to mill 19th. and got grist Chop
