We go to big bridge with Edith where we left her in Mrs. Tom Joyce's company & ev'g. returned with old Mrs. Joyce. Met. E.E.W. on Church hill on horseback. We got home safely but rather timid after hearing about the strange family who have traded places with Mr. Larkin, in Dakotah or vicinity. |
Thurs. 2nd. Washing this morning. Mrs. Ingl. & Mrs. Bray called this morning. Arvilla & Agnetta Curtis came this afternoon while I was in the house alone; just ready to go to Bronte. They did not stay long as they had intended as we were so busy. I took them to the field to see Sarah's girls then went to Bronte with them. They met Sandy Fleming & got a ride home. Ella & her mother called in ev'g. Ernest here for a short time but did not come in. I made a puzzle of a letter & gave to him to-night. It was written in telegraphy. He intends to leave Bronte shortly for Chicago. | Thurs. 2nd. Washing this morning. Mrs. Ingl. & Mrs. Bray called this morning.
