Thurs. 2nd. Washing this morning. Mrs. Ingl. & Mrs. Bray called this morning. Arvilla & Agnetta Curtis came this afternoon while I was in the house alone; just ready to go to Bronte. They did not stay long as they had intended as we were so busy. I took them to the field to see Sarah's girls then went to Bronte with them. They met Sandy Fleming & got a ride home. Ella & her mother called in ev'g. Ernest here for a short time but did not come in. I made a puzzle of a letter & gave to him to-night. It was written in telegraphy. He intends to leave Bronte shortly for Chicago.
