Charles and I called on Winnie after church as she goes back to Toronto in the Morning. Charlie and Duncan go to Oliphant to-day for Labor Day & to bring home rest of things. Mother went along as far as Tara where she will visit Mrs. Start. Went to S.S. |

in the garden for an hour and a quarter. Went down town and called at Public Library to see Mrs. Ferguson and then called to see Mrs. Caldwell who is still far from well. She is talking of going to Owen Sound to see Dr. Middlebro. Alma Halliday called after dinner to see me about writing a story for her to use as an advertisement. Spent the evening reading. Stopped to talk to Mr. & Mrs. Tuer who got home last night.
