Duncan was here in the afternoon. Wrote to Annie Burbank and Pearl Buckley. Then finished taking ice off down to King's lot and a strip along outside of sidewalk past their lot. Wrote to Miss MacEachran & Miss Murray, Dorothy and Nell.

Sunday Jan. 23rd.

Snow flurries all day but not cold. Went to church twice and to S.S. Charles did not go at night. Wrote to Clare. Read "The Blower of Bubbles." Alice and Charlie up after church and Mr. McQueen arrived while I was at Church.

Monday Jan. 24th.

Got much colder at night. Cold day. Went to the office in the Morning and did the entries up to date. Got home at noon. Started "Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc" by Mark Twain. In the afternoon called on Mrs. Burrett, (who is ill -- supposed to have a tumor) on Mrs. Hooper who is in bed again and on Mrs. Irvine. As Dr. Morgan was there I did not go in. Called at Stanley's also
