Thursday Feb. 17th.

Wind got round to the North in the night. Quite stormy to-day. Washed my hair this Morning. Soft water tanks for bath-room empty so had to let in hard water. Snowing hard after dinner when I went down to the office to see the New typewriter. Did the Entries. Called to see Mrs. Leitch and tell her (after spending morning on the Job) that it would not be possible to get up anything in a week for the Scotch supper. Went to Dr. Rannie's and had my throat burnt. Charles went to Masonic Meeting in the evening. Helped Mrs. Ryan look through books for pictures for costume for Tom for the Carnival. Wrote to Clare.
