| Wed | 5 | Thawing, splitting wood, Alex drawing it home. |
| Thur | 6 | Cutting wood all day, went-down to choir practice at-night. |
| Fri | 7 | Drizzling rain, cutting wood, had an invitation to Bessie Murray's party tonight but did not go |
