Charlie at church at night and they came up with me for awhile. Slept inside.

January 26 (Monday)

Practised an hour in the Morning and half an hour in the afternoon. Did some short-hand. Went up to see Mother. Mrs. Grant & Mrs. Ferguson were there. Called in to see Mrs. McGregor, who sprained her ankle at Mrs. Sanderson's last week. Mrs. Hugh Warmington was there. The ankle is not very bad. Looked over the Old Classical Manuscripts. I Read "The Clash." Much Milder to-day but windy so slept inside again to-night.
