colder. Called at Blair's to enquire how Mr. Blair was- somewhat better. Mr. Tuer was there at the same time.  Called at Johnston's but Jean out again. Then went down to Stanley's. Mrs. Stanley pretty well but not able to go out yet. They had a fine picture of Stanley and had had a letter from Delphine saying she weighed 117 lbs when she was married and now weights 178 lbs. Was visiting Janet (Feenist) Atkinson and says the baby is a very fine baby. After tea I read to Charles as he was afraid it might make his head pain again. Has not bothered him scarcely at all to-day. About 10 p.m. Duncan called on his way to the late train to meet his father. Got quite frosty at night so slept inside.
