the bathroom tank so for about a week we were carrying water up from the cistern. Now it appears the cistern is about dry, for the water is very muddy, so we are melting snow. Wish there would soon be a rain to fill the tank. Are afraid to run the hard water in because of the tank for radiators and the water first being connected with bath room tank and hard water would fill them up. Went down to Mrs. Crow's for my lesson. Mrs. Beattie & Miss Florence Kitchener to see me about looking over Miss Kirchener's paper for Horticultural Society. After tea Duncan came up and we played seven-up until Duncan went to meet the late train at 10.30. Charlie did not get home last night. Went to Frank. Very frosty. Below zero so slept inside.
