Line 1: Line 1:
Went down town in the afternoon and shovelled the walk when I came home. (was at it half an hour) After reading "The Globe" and "The Enterprise continued 'cut out' work. It got quite stormy. Mr. Schmidt said it was the stormiest day this winter out in the country but I fancy he has forgotten some of the storms. Bad day, however. Wrote to Dorothy, Carnival to-night, fixed Bert Lemke's head dres. Slept outside.

March 6th (Saturday)

Worked all morning for Charles. Mr. Caldwell still confined to the house. Continued 'cut-out' work. Fine, bright day but still very frostly. Went down town in the afternoon. After tea Dr. Biehn came up to see Charles, re Hul McGuire V. Halladay. Continued cut out work. Cold so slept inside. Have a bad cold.

March 7th. (Sunday)

Still cold but bright. Church again to-day. Went to church and to S.S. Did not go to church at night as I had neuralgia in my head. Quite stormy
