Very cool day - wind from north - one little shower in the Morning. Went down town for Meat. Cleared out box, drawers and closet in my room. After dinner went down for Mail and to hunt for vests etc. Came home, tried on vests, went down again. Came home, found I had forgotten to get lace for Mrs. Green to put on my gowns so went down again. Just at 6 o'clock, Clarence Davison passing so he drove me down in his car. After tea called to see if Mrs. Beattie would go up to Mother's and took the lace to Mrs. Green. Mrs. Beattie and I went up to Mother's. She was out so we wandered all around the lawn and garden.
