It has been a rotten day. Cold windy and drizzling rain most of the time. We puttereda round all moening. Frank started to clean out the shop and I took some eggs over to Jack martin and he paid me Dad. has been digging ditches all day and feels about as blue as a sick fish over the weather. Rifght after dinner Frank and I made another cement post ad then In went down to Miss Martin's to get my hollyhocks, she gave a basket full of stuff besides hollyhocks were asters, snapdragons, nicotinas and a few seedling dahlias. I set most of them out when i got home I stopped in at Aunty's for a few minutes on my way home. Although rthere were a few fishers went down the road to-day axccording to the annual custom, there were very few and the old creek was not bristling with fu=ish poles from Art.
