Smith's to play bridge. I went down to the Cooks for a few minutes. Young Doc. is in bed with a cold. From there I went down to the Mann's and took Oliver a couple of books from Aunty. I had arranged to meet him to-night anyway to chart him. I charted him although it wasn't very satisfactory as Nanny & young Reed were there. I went to band practice from there and after band practice which lasted till after 10.30 I went over to the Smith's to call for Aunty Alice as I had promised. We had coffee & cake after I got there so it was pretty late when we got back to Aunty's where Marj. was waiting for me and quite late when Marj. & I eventaully got home and she was pretty well tired out. |
