May 20th Spent first night on the farm. Bill Oakes preparing corn ground.
" 26th Bill Donald & Charlie Butler gave a day on corn ground.
" 30th Planted corn
" 31st Bobby's "Taurus", first calf born on the place (in our day)
June 12th Used cream separator for first time. Dad. at Flemming's barn (horse stable) raising.
" 16 Bill started to plough summer fallow
" 17 & 19 Had a bee to move the stable, old house & pig pen.
" 22 Holiday in town to celebrate the King's coronation.
