1911. Summary of the Diary.
May 20th Spent first night on the farm. Bill Oakes preparing corn ground.
" 26th Bill Donald & Charlie Butler gave a day on corn ground.
" 30th Planted corn
" 31st Bobby's "Taurus", first calf born on the place (in our day)
June 12th Used cream separator for first time. Dad. at Flemming's barn (horse stable) raising.

Thurs " 5 Old Mr. McBride's (Jimmy?) funeral. Mrs. Ferris eloped & Mrs. Gerrard's husband returns, having another wife & five children.
Wed. " 12 Hannah Flemming & Lloyd Chrysler married yesterday.
Thurs Fri " 13 Bill Donald cut the buckwheat. Played Pit at Blaikies to-night.
Thur. " 19 Dick. Frank & I drive Josie to Simcoe Fair. Aunty leaves Fort Sask. for Dover
Fri. " 20 The Miss Hardings. Mrs. Morgan & Miss Buckwell drove Isaac's pacer over to see us.
Monday " 23 I got some wood of different kinds for a collection.
Wed. " 25 I think I have kept a diary long enough now that Aunty is home
Sat. 28 Got in the last of our husked corn about 200 bushels
