We didn't get up very early and I spent the fore noon doing chores and sweeping the school-house but went down right after dinner. Bill said at first he couldn't pull it as it was too sore yet to monkey with but when he looked at it he said the gum had receded more than he expected so he did pull it. It was very painful again to-night just befor I went to bed but I eased it with Sloan's liniment and the hot water bottle. I thought he put a piece of cotton batten in it and as he told me last week to be sure and take it out before I went to bed I fished and prodded around with a darning needle for this piece but couldn't find it and neither could Marj. so I don't know whether it is there or I swallowed it. |
