My tooth hurt so after I went to bed that I made up my mind to go down and get Bill to get the other root out to-day. We didn't get up very early and I spent the fore noon doing chores and sweeping the school-house but went down right after dinner. Bill said at first he couldn't pull it as it was too sore yet to monkey with but when he looked at it he said the gum had receded more than he expected so he did pull it. It was painful but came out with one pull. I went down to Aunty's for awhile afterwards and lay down and they tied my face up to drive home. It was very painful again to-night just befor I went to bed but I eased it with Sloan's liniment and the hot water bottle.
