Fri July 23. A very <u>heavy</u> <u>storm</u> about 7·30 then later Mr Watson house struck. I was at Willies picking peas and out in part of storm. Amie here all night.

Thur July 15: Fine bright and quite cold but delig htful Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto, out St Clair called at Mrs Hamiltons and Mrs Ruperts. 3 Humewood Drive off St Clair. picked our first Beans
